Rapid Reach Task Flow
This task flow ensures efficient coordination between responders and Rover Rescue, with a focus on navigation, communication, and situational awareness in challenging terrains. It highlights adaptability to rural, forested, and infrastructure-limited areas, streamlining rescue operations in unideal conditions. Primary events within the app are marked by red circles or squares, while subsequent actions are represented by grey squares.
LoFi Development to Midfi
Midfi Development & Testing
After finalizing my lo-fi sketches, I transitioned them into mid-fidelity designs using Figma. Once the designs were ready, I conducted a round of user testing to gather feedback. To ensure the app's usability and cohesion, I sought input from both first responders and the general public. Key takeaways from this testing included:
Utilizing color to establish hierarchy and prioritize critical information.Clearly displaying routes for improved navigation.Streamlining and organizing side menus for better usability. This feedback played a crucial role in refining the app's design and functionality.
